3rd JK ECA All India Open Rapid Rating Chess Tournament

The 3rd JK’s ECA All India Open FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament is scheduled on Sunday, 19 April 2026, starting at 9:00 AM in Pune at Gulmohor Banquets, Abhiruchi Mall. The event features a rapid format with a time control of 10 minutes plus 5 seconds increment and will be played over 9 rounds in Swiss format.

The tournament offers an attractive total prize pool of ₹4,00,000, with the winner receiving ₹1,00,000. There are 55 cash prizes and 119 trophies across multiple categories, including rating-based, age groups, and special awards.

The entry fee is ₹2000 (₹500 late fee after 10 April), while titled players and those rated above 2300 get free entry. Open to rated and unrated players, the event promises strong competition, professional arbiters, and FIDE rating opportunities.
